Sterling Springs Resort

Legacy legal documentation and outdated cabin listing sites will often refer to Grand View Resort as "Sterling Springs Resort".  The current HOA has no affiliation or shared operations with the original operators of Sterling Spring Resort. A brief history is provided below to help clarify the name and management changes that our community has undergone.

Sterling Webb is the original developer that began building Sterling Springs Resort as a planned development in 2006.  In 2009 the housing market forced the developer into bankruptcy. Mountain National Bank foreclosed on all properties owned by Sterling Webb including the clubhouse and pool area.

In September 2012, Mountain National Bank turned the HOA over to the homeowners and we had our first annual meeting.  A Board of Directors comprised of home owners were elected at this time and with the help of HOA Management Group.

Grandview Resort

In April 2013 the owners voted in favor of a name change.  A vote was held over several owner suggestions and Grandview Resort was adopted.

Mountain National Bank reached an agreement to sell the remaining Sterling Springs assets to the Grandview Resort HOA in July 2014.  With funding provided by a group of homeowners the pool, clubhouse and all bank owned lots were purchased and control of these areas were returned to the HOA.

Throughout the last several years the HOA have managed the retail assets of the property as well as continued improvement of the common areas.
